For accepted practices to work, we all need to speak the "same language." APEX accepted practices started with establishing a common vocabulary and terminology. The Convention Industry Council supports APEX accepted practices through the use of Toolbox™ and Powershop™.
Toolbox is a single-user, application-based (resides on your computer) program that allows a planner to automatically fill in the Request for Proposal, Event Specifications Guide, and Post Event Report. It has other useful templates and tools for meeting planners. Click here to learn more.
Powershop™ offers more functionality. It is available in two versions:
• Application – resident on one computer
• Enterprise Solution - a network version of Powershop™ that is delivered
through a hosted delivery model (SaaS). In addition, all information is stored
on the Internet allowing you to access your information from any location.
